The Hiwassee River Watershed Coalition’s 6th Annual Spring Lakes Celebration & Wine Tasting Fundraiser will be held on Thursday, May 17th at beautiful Crane Creek Vineyards near Young Harris, GA. This increasingly popular event begins at 6:00 p.m. and features tasting of local wines offered by Crane Creek, as well as amazing hors d’oeuvres. In addition to great food and great wine in a beautiful setting, this year we’ll introducing the new Lake Chatuge Watershed Coordinator! All proceeds from this event will be used to support the Coalition’s Lakes Program. The upper Hiwassee River watershed includes Chatuge, Nottely, Hiwassee & Apalachia Lakes, as well as the Hiwassee River and all of its tributary streams in four counties!
